And I wanted them to be real for a change. Sometimes it felt like they faked a bit too much. Although there also where some moments I really wanted to shake some sense into both of them. I really felt for them and I loved how much we got to know about them. The characters are awesome, both Max and Cade and I felt like I really got to know both of them.

Faking It has some of those funny moments like in Losing It, that I just wanted to laugh out loud at the situation the characters where in. Like the author developed her writing style or something like that and everything was just a little bit better. I did enjoy Faking It more than Loving It, it just felt better. This story is much more emotional and heavy than Losing It, where Losing It feel still relatively light, this book certainly has more dark and emotional moments. So when I started the book and found out it was about Cade I was really happy, he seemed like such a nice guy in Losing It and wanted him to be happy. I have to admit that I hadn’t even read the blurb and I even bought this book before I read Losing It (I never ever do this, well except for now I guess). I liked getting to see Cade’s side of things and how he looked at Bliss and Garrick their relationship before his own story started. The story starts off great, introducing both main characters and putting them in a great situation.

I finished this book in a day, because I couldn’t stop reading. There is just something so addictive about this book and Cora Cormack her writing style. The first thing I thought after I finished this book was where is the next book. And the more they fake the relationship, the more real it begins to feel. But when Cade plays the role a little too well, they’re forced to keep the ruse going. When Max approaches him in a coffee shop with a crazy request to pretend to be her boyfriend, he agrees to play the part. So far though, he’s kept the problems and had very little opportunity to take the stage. All her lies are about to come crashing down around her, but then she meets Cade.Ĭade moved to Philadelphia to act and to leave his problems behind in Texas. Even worse, they’re expecting to meet a nice, wholesome boyfriend, not a guy named Mace who has a neck tattoo and plays in a band. Her parents have arrived in town for a surprise visit, and if they see her dyed hair, tattoos, and piercings, they just might disown her. Blurb from Goodreads: Mackenzie “Max” Miller has a problem.
